You can run the whole hub by voice: hold A or X on a controller, say a command, let go. A small plaque shows what was heard. The hub understands the language it is set to (🌐 Language), and English words work in every language.
The first time: press A or X — the hub asks for the microphone, press Allow microphone, confirm in the browser and press Back to VR. Nothing is recorded or stored: the short snippet becomes text and is thrown away.
Tips: say one command at a time in a normal voice; two or three words work better than one short word (“next clip” rather than “next”). A creator’s name opens that creator if they are on screen; anything else becomes a search in the Shop.
What you can say
- Play and pause — “pause”, “stop”, “play”, “resume”, “continue”
- Next and previous clip — “next clip”, “skip”, “previous clip”, “last video”
- Jump — “from the start”, “fast forward”, “30 seconds forward”, “rewind”, “15 seconds back”
- Quality and sound — “8K”, “6K”, “4K”, “auto quality”, “louder”, “quieter”, “mute”, “sound on”
- The clip — “like”, “save”, “tip”, “tip 5”, “follow”, “share”, “comments”, “details”, “buy”
- Tabs — “Discover”, “Live”, “For you”, “Shop”, “Library”, “Watchlist”, “Continue”, “Creators”
- Search — “search for …”, “show me Franky” (a creator on screen)
- Chat and messages — “open the chat”, “message”
- Your room — “style my room”, “decorate”, “my booth”, “top fans”, “window snow” (or city, beach, mountains …), “environment”
- Help and feedback — “help”, “settings”, “language”, “sign in”, “feature request”, “report a bug”
- Together — “party”, “moment”, “lean back on”, “lean back off”, “DeoVR”, “recenter”, “back”, “close”
Tips and purchases by voice need a signed-in account, like the buttons do. If the hub did not catch a command, the plaque says so — just try again.
